Terms of Service

Ice Coast Revival. Effective date: July 27, 2026.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or playing Ice Coast Revival (“the Game,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game. You must meet the minimum age set out in our Privacy Policy to create an account, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Game only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. License to play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play the Game for your own non-commercial enjoyment. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Game or its assets, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Purchases

Ice Coast Revival is currently playable at no charge during early access. A one-time purchase for a personal license to the “full game” is planned. Purchases are not available today. When purchases launch, the exact price will be shown at checkout, and any applicable taxes will be calculated there by the payment processor. The European Union is included in the planned purchase launch.

The full-game purchase is designed to unlock the Game across supported platforms through one account. Whether you buy on the web through Stripe or, when those store versions become available, through the Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android, or another supported store, you will restore access by signing in to the same account.

When purchases launch, you may request a full refund of a purchase made directly from us within twenty-four (24) hours after purchase by emailing privacy@icecoastrevival.com. We will provide that goodwill refund with no questions asked. If we issue a full refund, access granted by the refunded purchase ends. Purchases made through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another store are refunded under that store's own refund policy and process. Nothing in this refund policy limits any statutory right that cannot be waived, including any applicable European Union or United Kingdom withdrawal right. Where required, checkout will ask for your express consent to immediate performance and your acknowledgment of how that affects your withdrawal right.

4. Accounts

You can play without an account. If you create one, whether with an email and password, a passwordless magic-link sign-in, or by continuing with Google or Apple, you are responsible for maintaining access to that sign-in method and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@icecoastrevival.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Game or these terms. You can schedule deletion from the signed-in account page. The request has a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel it. See the Privacy Policy for what is removed when the account is purged and what records are retained.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Game or its underlying systems;
• use the Game to break any law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
• attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorization; or
• use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Game in a way that burdens our infrastructure.

6. Your content

The Game may let you enter text such as resort or save names, or submit feedback. You are responsible for what you enter and confirm it is lawful and not infringing. You grant us the limited right to store and display that content back to you as part of operating the Game. Keep it appropriate.

7. Marketing communications

We only send you occasional marketing or product-news email if you opt in, by checking the box during account creation or turning on the equivalent toggle in your account settings. That choice is separate from the transactional emails needed to operate an account you create (such as a sign-in link), which we send regardless of your marketing choice. You can withdraw your marketing opt-in at any time from the same account settings, with no effect on your ability to play or on any other part of your account. 8. Intellectual property

The Game, including its code, artwork, characters, music, text, and the “Ice Coast Revival” name, is owned by its developer and protected by intellectual-property laws. Aside from the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee the Game will be uninterrupted, without errors or bugs, or that saved games will always be preserved. The Game may change, pause, or be discontinued at any time. Because some saves are stored only in your browser or app, they can be lost if you clear site or app data or switch devices; download backups of saves you care about.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, or saved games, arising out of or relating to your use of the Game. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Game will not exceed the greater of twenty U.S. dollars (US$20) or the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty or liability exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect the Game and its players. You can ask us to delete your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and, where permitted, the courts located there will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EEA, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, a U.S. state, or any other place with mandatory local consumer or data-protection rights, nothing here deprives you of protections that apply to you by law, and you may have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Before filing any formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
