1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or playing Ice Coast Revival (“the Game,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Game only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. License to play

The Game is free to play. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play it for your own non-commercial enjoyment. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Game or its assets, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

3. Accounts

You can play without an account. If you create one (via email magic-link sign-in), you are responsible for maintaining access to the email address you use and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@icecoastrevival.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Game or these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Game or its underlying systems;
• use the Game to break any law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
• attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorization; or
• use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Game in a way that burdens our infrastructure.

5. Your content

The Game may let you enter text such as resort or save names. You are responsible for what you enter and confirm it is lawful and not infringing. You grant us the limited right to store and display that content back to you as part of operating the Game. Keep it appropriate.

6. Intellectual property

The Game — including its code, artwork, characters, music, text, and the “Ice Coast Revival” name — is owned by its developer and protected by intellectual-property laws. Aside from the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Disclaimers

The Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We don’t guarantee the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs, or that saved games will always be preserved. The Game may change, pause, or be discontinued at any time. Because some saves are stored only in your browser, they can be lost if you clear site data or switch devices — download backups of saves you care about.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, or saved games, arising out of or relating to your use of the Game. Because the Game is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Game will not exceed twenty U.S. dollars (US$20).

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain warranty or liability exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect the Game and its players. You can ask us to delete your account and data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and — where permitted — the courts located there will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in Canada or a U.S. state with mandatory local protections, nothing here deprives you of protections that apply to you by law. Before filing any formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
